Moral Injury, Soul Repair and Love for Our Neighbors Lecture
March 22 | 6 p.m.
St. Stephen's, Richmond

Like love, moral injury is both universal and infinitely diverse. The suffering it names comes from broken ties of love for self and others. It results from the anger, mistrust, shame and disillusionment that accompany the collapse of our core moral foundations under the weight of harm or evil that cannot be integrated into our identity.

This lecture explores Dr. Rita Nakashima Brock’s work on soul repair and offers ways to heal wounds to individuals as well as wounds to the larger society. Learn more .

Complete Parochial Reports before May 1
In late December, login information for the parochial reporting system was mailed to each church in the diocese. As of March 11, 130 churches have submitted or begun to fill out their parochial report online. This is a great beginning and an improvement over last year. However, 50 churches have not started the process. It is critical that all 180 reports be submitted before Wednesday, May 1. If you need help using the system, or a reminder of your church’s login credentials, please contact the Treasurer’s office .
