Jeremy Daniels, Associate Pastor
Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries
If plans had gone according to ME, I would be sitting in the Orlando airport today typing up my E-Connection article while waiting to fly back home after a week long class in Seminary. However, 2021 is off to a fun start, and I ended up holding off to take my January term class until next January. This reminded me of how things change to work out for God’s good and not always our own. Proverbs 19:21 (CEB) says, "Many plans are in a person’s mind, but the Lord’s purpose will succeed.” It doesn’t say we shouldn’t plan; it is simply reminding us that while we may have a plan for life, God’s plan will ultimately be the one to succeed because God has a bigger purpose than we could ever imagine.
I’m thankful that my class was postponed for it gave me more time here at church with our intern Sarah, who was also not originally “planned” to be with us when my class was originally added to my 2021 plans. It’s been great having her around, to not only help on several of our projects over the last month and half, but also to bounce ideas off of, collaborate with, share in the ups and downs of ministry, and overall be in ministry with. We’ve all enjoyed having her around, and I’ve enjoyed hearing those of you who have stopped by the office getting a chance to chat and talk with her as well. None of this was in either of our plans, but God has changed us and challenged us so that his purpose will succeed.

Live Stream Tech Volunteers Needed
To help continue our Facebook-Live presence for our 10:30 a.m. worship services, we need several volunteers to train and learn the process to help this outreach. We are blessed with the technology to be able to reach others for Christ in this new way. Please consider being a part of this team! Please contact Karen in the office or Pastor Jeremy
