Only 63 days left before Christmas!  Exciting things are happening in the FBMUMC music program. The choir and the orchestra is working hard to prepare for the Christmas cantata "Christmas Presence" which will be presented on December 16th. If you play an instrument or love to sing for the Lord, it's not too late to come and join us for this cantata. Choir practice is every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m., and the orchestra practices on Sunday evenings at 6:15 p.m. We are also working on some great upcoming Anthems for worship including "A Tribute to the Armed Services" on Veterans Day.      The handbell choir is off to good start and will be presenting "Wade in the Water" on November 4th, and a beautiful arrangement of "What Child is This" for Christmas which includes bells, chimes, and a new "singing bell" technique that we recently learned. The bell choir practices on Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
On behalf of everyone involved in the music program, I would like to thank you for all of the cards, encouraging words, and support that we receive from you. All glory to God!  We are blessed to be a blessing.

Operation Christmas Child
Pray for the millions of children who will hear of God's love for them and receive the free gift of salvation.  For those who've taken a shoebox: Decide if you're packing for a boy or girl.  Select items for ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Fill with school supplies, basic hygiene items, and toys. You can also send clothing items. Most importantly, pray over your box as you choose the items and before sending it back to church. Children especially like a personal note or picture from your family. Cut out the label (on brochure inside box); tape label to top of box - on the side, not middle of lid.
