 January 28, 2019

      What a Monday!
Not only did I just get back from my trip to Kenya late last week, but I slid right into a wonderful weekend of worship and teaching at our annual Winter Retreat trip to Pigeon Forge for the Holston Annual Conference's Annual Resurrection Conference.  We joined up with over 6,000 youth and young adults this weekend to experience God on another level.  We learned about grace and shared a lot of pizza. God is good, and 2019 is shaping up to be another amazing year here at Forrest Burdette!
     It's good to be back!
     Jeremy Daniels, Associate Pastor
Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries
Souper Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl LIII will be a battle between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots, and it's time to bring in cans of soup to "vote" for your favorite team!  The big game is on Sunday, February 3, so bring your soup to the front of the Sanctuary, and place it in front of the sign for the team you hope will win.  Soup will be donated to the Community Cupboard.
