"How Can It Be?" I was deeply moved as the choir and orchestra presented this beautiful anthem Sunday morning to the glory of God. This powerful song speaks of the wonder of Christ's grace and mercy: "You plead my cause. You right my wrongs. You break my chains. You overcome. You gave Your life to give me mine. You say that I am free. How can it be?" Wow! His grace is more sufficient than all of the wrongs we've done. No matter how guilty and ashamed we feel, He rights our wrongs, breaks our chains, and frees us from our sins.  It is the choir's prayer that with every song we present someone's heart will be touched, that someone listening will become closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. If just one of you was moved half as much as I was by this song, then our prayers were answered. Thanks to the choir and orchestra for presenting this anthem straight from their hearts. And I couldn't be prouder of Willow Hess. This was this beautiful young lady's first solo since joining the choir, and she did fantastic!
The choir and musicians will continue to offer some great music for Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Easter, and beyond. If you enjoy singing and praising the Lord through music please come and join us. It would be great to see the choir loft full every Sunday morning.
Oh, and thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes. You made me feel very special as I celebrated this 24th anniversary of my 39th birthday.
