Upcoming Events:
Undie Sunday throughout November!

 November 18, 2019

We are off to a good start on collecting hot chocolate packets for Heart and Hand. We are collecting them so that when we go to work on next month's Service Saturday we can place packets, along with an uplifting note, inside of a coffee mug for them to hand out to those families who will come in for assistance during the holidays. This is one way to help bring cheer to those in need this holiday season. We've also turned this into a competition between our Middle School and High School students to see who can bring in the most by December 14th! So if you happen to bring some in, don't be surprised if one of the Uth asks if they can turn it in for you!
Jeremy Daniels, Associate Pastor

Undie Sundays
Please bring in new, unopened underwear for both children and adults on the Sundays in November (this Sunday will be the final week!). There is a collection basket available in the Narthex. The underwear will go to Heart & Hand which will distribute the undergarments to area schools, homeless and domestic violence shelters, and children who participate in the Heart & Hand Christmas Program.
Little Free Library
Forrest Burdette now has a Little Free Library, "the world's largest book-sharing movement", located in the grassy area just before the COM covered drive. This project was a collaboration between our Children's & Youth Ministries. A Little Free Library is a "take a book, return a book" free book exchange for all ages. If you have one or two gently used books, for children, youth, young adults, or adults, that you think would be a good addition to our little library, please bring them to the church office.
