School's out for the holidays - what to do? We've added more recreational skating and swimming to our regular schedule for more holiday fun! Use our printable schedules as a convenient way to remember swim and skate times. Some closures are in effect for statutory holidays.

March Break Camp

Our March Break Camp runs from March 10-14, 2025. Children will enjoy classic camp games, use their imagination through creative activities, discover new learnings with science experiments, and explore during outdoor play. Registration is currently open.

Hey Neighbour Fire Pit Popup on Sunday, December 8

Join us at Dominion Gardens Park on Sunday, December 8 from 2-4 p.m. where our neighbourhood programming crew will have a hot chocolate waiting for you and a seat around the fire pit! (weather permitting).

Holiday gift cards

Recreation gift cards are a perfect stocking stuffer for activities like swimming, skating or even recreation programs. Load the gift card with whatever value you choose! Available until December 24 at recreation facilities across Halton Hills.

Inclement weather reminder

While every effort is made to keep facilities and programs running, bad weather can result in closures and cancellations. If your recreation program takes place on a day with poor weather conditions, you may wish to check ahead to confirm if the facility is open. Learn more on our website:

Acton Lion's Indoor Pool maintenance closure

The Acton Lion's Indoor Pool will be closed for facility maintenance from Monday, December 9 to Sunday, December 22. Holiday schedule starts December 23.

Holiday Jazz at the Gellert on Wednesday, December 11

If you're at the Gellert, stick around to enjoy the sweet sound of "Standard Time" who will be playing a mix of holiday and classic tunes. Light refreshments provided. Drop in on Wednesday, December 11 anytime between 9 a.m. to noon.
