Halton Hills taxpayers can now register for winter recreation programs like swimming lessons, lifeguard club, fitness classes, lifesaving courses, children's programs, March Break camp and more. *Non-residents can register beginning Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7am.

NEW! Drop-in Cardio Sculpt

Prefer more flexibility in your schedule? New for Winter 2026, pre-book* individual classes for the noon-hour Cardio Sculpt class at the Gellert Community Centre on Wednesdays.

Strengthen muscles and improve cardio in this powerful class that combines aerobic exercise with resistance training for a well-rounded workout.

*Classes must be pre-booked in advance.

Holiday swimming and skating

School's out for the holidays - what to do? We've added more recreational skating and swimming to our regular schedule for more holiday fun! Use our printable schedules as a convenient way to remember swim and skate times. Some closures are in effect for statutory holidays.

While every effort is made to keep facilities and programs running, bad weather can result in closures and cancellations. If your recreation program takes place on a day with poor weather conditions, you may wish to check ahead to confirm if the facility is open. Learn more on our website:

Holiday Jazz at the Gellert on Wednesday, December 17

If you're at the Gellert, stick around to enjoy the sweet sound of "Standard Time" who will be playing a mix of holiday and classic tunes. Light refreshments provided. Drop in on Wednesday, December 17 anytime between 9 a.m. to noon. All are welcome!
