With so many seasonal changes, it can be easy to lose track of our personal health and fitness goals in the fall. Make this the season to stick to it and discover a new fitness, swimming or recreational activity to keep you healthy and connected.


We offer swimming lessons for all ages, children's sports and recreation programs, adult fitness classes and much more!

Beginning September 16, our recreational swim program rolls over to a new fall schedule. If you haven't got a copy yet, pick one up the next time you're at the pool or use the link below for a version you can print at home.

New Indigenous exhibition coming to the Helson Gallery this fall


In partnership with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, this exhibition presents a collection of artworks that honour and celebrate their enduring resilience and culture. Each piece reflects the deep-rooted traditions, stories, and contemporary experiences of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, highlighting their rich heritage and strength.


Future events will be scheduled to coincide with this exhibition at a later date.

Calling All Youth!

Youth Centres in Acton and Georgetown serve youth ages 12-24 by offering safe spaces, recreational activities, and community connections for a variety of specialized needs.

  • Youth Centre Hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00-7:30 p.m.
  • Youth Leadership Program: Starting October 10. Learn more.
  • Friday Night Youth Program for Youth with Exceptionalities: Ages 20-35, starting in October. Learn more.

Culture Days is back in Halton Hills this fall!


Culture Days is back from September 20 - October 13 with over 100 free and by-donation activities for residents and visitors! Celebrate local arts, culture, and heritage with performances, workshops, and more. Highlights include the return of Doors Open, The Red River Ramblers in concert at the John Elliott Theatre, Ishpendaagaabwi: Standing With Pride at the Helson Gallery, and more.

PARK OF THE MONTH: Prospect Park


Prospect Park has it all. Kids will enjoy the playground with zipline or the splash pad. Everyone will enjoy sports fields and courts, walking track and pathways, and community gardens. As the only public lake within Halton Hills, Fairy Lake offers fishing, dock areas, and boat access for rentals or launching your own watercraft (no motor boats allowed).
