COVID-19 Update & Response

As coronavirus (COVID-19) cases continue to mount, E.J. Callahan & Associates continues to monitor and respond to the rapidly changing situation. Our top priority is the safety and welfare of our team members and clients.

To ensure our customers’ businesses are supported we have taken specific steps as part of our business continuity plan. These steps include:

  • Moving as many employees as possible to work from home in a well-planned manner. This ensures your businesses continue to receive excellent and timely support and responses during this crucial time.
  • Working closely with our partners to make sure we have additional resources, supplies and equipment in place to support both our employees and our customers.

As a company directly serving the business community, many of which are in the construction industry and other customer facing industries hard hit by this pandemic, we know how critical it is to help our customers maintain their business during difficult and complex times like these.

As the situation evolves, know we will continue to invest in our capabilities, equipment and support and reacting in real-time to make sure we are here supporting our customers through this.

What We’re Doing Now:
 
Safety: We will continue following the recommendations of the CDC and state health officials to limit the spread of the virus.
 
Meeting Client Needs: We are communicating directly with our clients to coordinate how we can best serve them and tools we are using to complete work to substitute for in-person visits where possible. Please try to scan your 1040 information to us instead of mailing your information to our office. You may contact an EJC partner to obtain a link to a secure portal to upload your documents.
 
Preparation: As a principally mobile workforce, we are already well-prepared to work remotely. We have the technology needed already in place to continue serving clients and operations, even if access to physical office locations becomes restricted.
 
Government & Industry Changes: We are closely monitoring federal, state and local regulators and authorities to stay abreast of changing deadlines, tax relief availability, and statutes that will affect our clients.
 
Travel: We have already significantly limited travel to client sites. Our leadership team will continue working directly with our clients so we can meet their needs while attempting to limit the spread of the virus.
 
We are optimistic that as we all pull together through these challenges, we will find solutions and be able to provide assistance to help our clients move forward during these challenging times.
