Seven of Ariel
"You have invested wisely! Have patience and wait for the harvest. Review your progress and make plans for your next endeavor."
"Your seeds are well planted! However, some plans do take time to develop. Now is not the moment to stop, as success is very probable! You may not see it clearly, but slow and steady progress is being made. Have patience. It's almost time!
This is a good opportunity to pause and review how far you've come. Are things moving along as you'd planned? If not, what changes might you make in the future? If you're at the end of a project, don't linger too long finishing it up. The success awaits your attention.
Additional meanings of this card:
A temporary pause; a welcome break in the action; pondering future strategies; determination."
JUST A THOUGHT (or two) ABOUT THIS CARD:
What stands out for me with this card is: Temporary pause and to ponder future strategies.
Right before the harvest, there is stillness. The plants you toiled over, meticulously cared for from a tiny seed - this is that time of ripening.
Oh yes, you could stand over it, fuss with the dirt. You're so very hungry for it, you're salivating in anticipation of your feast. But like a watched pot never boils, this card is Mama Nature's gentle thump that says "even more patience is called for" Magnificence takes time to blossom.
It takes time to craft, curate and to get that Better Yet to Come to culminate into the splendiferous majesty that you are due.
How this works out. Personally, I've been in such anticipation about being funded for a car purchase - I have not truly taken a beat or two to be in deep gratitude for all the miraculous gifts that being without a car has brought me. .
Such as increased health and me being on the receiving end of increased assistance from others. These are just a few of the gifts that I've gained from my experience. Each and everyday, I learn to be in the flow and come to appreciate the fact that I have been mightily and grandly assisted during every single step of the way.
So this card showing up means that there are blesssssings coming your way that will knock your socks off.
The other salient point was "ponder future strategies"
This card even gives instructions on how to make your world flow a whole lotta better!
So the dude on the front of the card is holding a staff with what could be a Fluorite or Aquamarine crystal and he's carrying a book called "Flower Therapy"
Fluorite is the crystal for increasing ourpowers of concentration, self-confidence and helping us in decision-making. (DING DING DING!) This is precisely what this pause in the action is about.
Think before you leap.
Get your mind right so you can lead with your heart fully engaged.
If it's Aquamarine - this is a stone of courage, which also has calming energies to help reduce stress and quiet the mind.
So we've got confirmation that now is NOT that time to get all swept up in dramas but a definite time to be kinder, gentler and take it easy for just a cotton-picking minute because the real guidance out of all your stories is to wait, not get all excited and basic. Your ship is coming in.
So you just have to cruise on the momentum that you have created because of all the work and planning that you've done before.
Let's delve into the symbols
Here's why -
"Seven" - is a highly spiritual number that is associated with intuition, mysticism, inner wisdom, and a deep inward knowing.
So sitting in cheerful contemplation of all that has gone before, making those connections, seeing the unifying themes and unraveling the snarls in design.
This is the time to assess if you have to make any course corrections. When 7's arrive, you know that good things are to follow.
So not unlike last week, this card evokes the call for more courage and patience
The suit of Ariel (which is also stands for the Pentacles in other decks) - Ariel is the Lioness of God - so think about how August is the astrological month that Leo stomps through and you can extrapolate that this means material splendor, comfort, ease and grace is about to unfold here and now betwixt Leo and the Virgin!
Remember last week's card was Strength (the Virginal Goddess soothing the savage beast of a Lion with kindness, love and understanding).
So, hold on Grasshopper, your patience with yourself and with the Infinite shall soon rake up the bitchen rewards
Crank up your faith and know, that all that you long for is on its way.
So in keeping with the theme of courage and accessing that deep wisdom that lies within the stillness of your heart and soul - there is one bit of advice I make an everyday practice of:
"Don't scare the baby"
This means that you don't want to mess up the growth that you have nurtured so greatly by filling your mind with notions that cause worry and strife.
Courage in this instance means not traversing down those well worn grooves within your mind which predict fearsome consequences. What is the point of doing such things?
When have those nightmarish scenarios ever manifested?
What the seeds you have planted need to grow is really simple:
(which is the love that overcomes all darkness, ignorance and despair),
(which is the timelessness of this now moment and the plenitude of acceptance),
the plucking out whatever you don't need in the garden
( which means: Kick those nasty thoughts about yourself, your value and worthiness to the curb so that you can embrace being the beloved of the Divine).
Which is why old dude on the front of this card is carrying a book about caring for a beautiful garden.
Scaring the baby is not productive towards success when you need all your strength to hold on.
Here is a quote to help illustrate:
"Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within."
Here's an affirmation to use to help get in the flow:
"I am the epitome of patience. I remain patient in all areas of my life today"
