This Week's Affirmation
I am a person of immeasurable worth.

Reverend Maryum's Weekly Prayer

I Have Faith not Fear
There is only One Mind-the Perfect Mind of God. All I thank, say and do is for the glory of the Divine. I am a reflection of that Creative Power and my faith makes me strong.
The qualities of the Divine are my inheritance; therefore, I am love, light and creativity. I feel a steadfast faith deep within my soul and I realize that is my truth. Any fearful thoughts that try to come into my mind are released and eliminated. I rejoice in the wonder of my life's journey. Regardless of past hurts and painful memories I know that life is an affirming experience and I celebrate it. With grace and ease, I allow Spirit to use me to create my world and my current experiences are filled with wonder and joy. I am in alignment with the Creator, the All-Good. There is no limit to the connectedness of Spirit. I am It; It is me. I am fully alive, awake and aware of the present moment. In the way I choose to live my life, I am the glory of the Divine. Life everywhere present, is sacred and infinite. As God indwells me, my life is lived for the highest and best for all concerned. I am in alignment with love, peace and harmony.
Thankfulness for the great life I live is deep and profound. I am filled with gratitude for all the blessings I experience this holiday season and throughout the year. I enjoy each precious moment. My word is released into the Law knowing my faith has created my heart's desires and ultimate reality. And so it is.

Intuitive Card Reading just for You!
I am pulling a card  from the Archangel Power Tarot   for today's wisdom

Seven of Raphael
"Time to make a decision! Be clear on what you want, and take action. A need for detoxification."
"Time to make a decision! You may feel the situation is too complicated, but further research will reveal the right course of action. Intuition provides useful guidance on how to sort through all the possible choices. Listen to your inner voice!
Don't be lulled into daydreams. Get clear on what you want, and then take action without looking back. If you're drawn to a particular bucket on that card, the chakra color holds meaning and guidance in making your choices.
Additional meaning: Unrealistic expectations, procrastination, confusion, indulging in excesses, a need for detoxification."
What stands out from this card is: "Be clear on what you want"
Here's why:
"There is a force in the universe for good and we can use it." So says Ernest Holmes. The deal is though in order to use this energy, we must first know what we desire.
A lot of the time we actually know what we want but often we cut down trees of distraction to create roadblocks for that desired thing.   In other words, we take ourselves out of the running for the very thing we know we want with all of our hearts.
This card states that in facing those fears and excuses, it creates a clarity of purpose, in which the Universe will cheerfully chime in to draw what is already yours to you.   This means that there is a space in the Universe where what you desire is - it just needs the best runway to land in your reality.
The Archangel Raphael is about healing your emotions and thoughts to help you get what you need. It just takes a decision and willingness to rely upon Spirit to fill your cosmic order.
This 7 number speaks to perfection or completeness. It is a number of intuition, mysticism, inner wisdom, and a deep inward knowing.
So it means in a nutshell it is time to KNOW that you are worthy of all you seek.
If you look at the face of this card, you will see wooden pails of different colors - which denote the chakra area where your wisdom lessons will begin to decipher just what you need to know in this moment for your journey.
Below gives a brief definition

So whatever color your eye is drawn to is the extra message on what area you need to work upon to decide what you want and to take successful action.
The entire Universe is ready to help you get what you desire as long as you are clear and wholeheartedly committed to your mission. Your mission could be as simple as being loving to yourself and others. Don't allow your ego to sit you out of the game with excuses. Many blessings await you.
So here's an affirmation to help us say I am willing to allow Spirit to open its coffers up to me":
"I promptly make wise decisions. I am decisive and confident in my choices."
And so it is.
And So It Is.

What Brother Ernie said:

LEARN to live life day by day. Never live tomorrow except by happy anticipation. To dread tomorrow is to demonstrate a tomorrow to be dreaded. If today is not all you wish it to be, rise above it in thought and declare your faith in all the good to come. Then it must come. To bewail the present hour is to sow the seed of new distresses. Laugh if you can, sing if you can. And if you cannot sing, then shout.
My brother used to say when he heard me about the house, "It seems to me that I have heard the same words to a different tune." Never mind, the tune is in the heart. What is your heart song? Let it ring out today. Cheer up, the best is yet to be.
Every day there are men who die because they think they are going to be hurt. Fright takes their breath away. There are still others who are wearing themselves out trying to make the world all right. The world is already all right, and your fear about it will only be a contribution toward making it wrong.
The way to make the world right is to be right yourself. Then you will at least "brighten the corner where you are. ,, If everybody does that, he is doing his part. It is a good deal better to be the message than it is to tell it.
Instead of trying to set the world right, set the ideals of your own life right. Work out every problem from within. All growth is from within. The way to change things is to change in consciousness first of all. May heaven pity the rest of the world if we, who know the truth, are living anything else than the ideal today. If we, who know the truth of life, find it necessary to turn to outside agencies to make things right, what shall the struggling multitudes do ! Dare to fling yourself on the bosom of the Law.
Dare to say, "It shall be done unto me." Dare to believe that you can better get results through faith than through struggle. Stop struggling! Struggle raises resistance, and resistance brings upon you the very evil you deplore.
I do now declare my faith in today. I know that there is nothing wrong in the eternal order; and the changing world is the changing thought of man. I will therefore align myself with the eternal order.

Food for Thought...

Do You Want to Feel More Joyful this Holiday Season?
Practice Conscious Gratitude

Here are some things you can do right now to start practicing
Conscious Gratitude:

1. Choose a time and focus on gratitude
Choose a specific time everyday where you will stop for a moment and focus on what you are grateful for in that particular moment.

I use 11:11. I have an alarm set on my phone to go off every day at 11:11. I stop whatever I'm doing (within reason- if I'm driving on a highway obviously I don't stop) and I silently focus on what I am grateful for in that moment. Even if I'm stuck in traffic, I can be grateful for my car or a good sound system or enough money for gas to get me where I am going.

2. First thing in the morning, before your feet hit the floor, be grateful.

Before you hop out of bed in the morning, take 30 seconds, (it really does not take more than that) to think about 3 things you are grateful for. This can be done silently in your head. Or better yet, if you have a partner that you share your bed with, ask each other to list those 3 things. It can be as simple as gratitude for a comfortable bed, a warm house, and a good nights sleep. It's been shown that starting your day in gratitude positively impacts you for the rest of the day.

3. Start a Gratitude Journal

Choose a journal that you like the feel and the look of, and make sure that it is used solely for writing about things your are grateful for. How you write this is up to you; it can be as simple as list making. I like using colorful pens playing in my journal, but use what ever works for you. Make it a routine, try to write in it daily, even if it's just for a few minutes a day.

4. Start new traditions in your family - like gratitude at meals

This may feel uncomfortable at first; but with time, the practice of going around the table and saying one thing you are grateful for that happened that day, can become a cherished family tradition. It's a great conversation starter and a wonderful way to lift the energy at any meal time. Another tradition can be saying one thing you are grateful for before going off to sleep. If you have children, it is a wonderful way to end the day just before they go to sleep. Another tradition to reinforce gratitude in relationships is texting to a loved one in the middle of the day, one thing you appreciate about them.

This works well with teens and couples with busy schedules.

So this holiday season, if you are hoping to embody Kermit's words . . .

Tis the season to be jolly and joyous
With a burst of pleasure, we feel it arrive
Tis the season when the saints can employ us
To spread the news about peace and to keep love alive

. . . You can start by practicing gratitude consciously today. And if that doesn't come naturally, start by 'acting as if' you are grateful. And pretty soon, what was once an act will become a habit.
