This week's quote:
"Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reach new heights." - Pauline R. Kezer
This Week's Affirmation
"I take full responsibility for my life so that I may live my dreams"
Reverend Maryum's Weekly Prayer
I Reach for New Heights
I know God is the One Limitless Source of all there is. Being one with the One, I am completely aware and grateful, knowing God is the center of my being, expressing Itself through me, as me.
I now accept God's grace and bask in perfect life unfolding for my highest good. I recognize God as the inner voice guiding me on my path. I trust God's wisdom and unlimited possibilities as I embrace the joys of change. Any fear is easily released. As I reach for new heights, I do so with clarity and certainty, knowing I'm tapped into Source. I am one with Infinite Spirit, always unfolding and ever expanding.
As I speak this truth, my heart is overflowing with grace, gratitude, and the Light of God. I release my word knowing it is acted upon here and now, whole, perfect and complete. I let go and let God. And so it is. Amen

Quotes About
Spiritual Responsibility
""You may believe that you are responsible for what you do, but not for what you think. The truth is that you are responsible for what you think, because it is only at this level that you can exercise choice. What you do comes from what you think.""
Marianne Williamson

Intuitive Card Reading just for You!
I am pulling a card from
"Archangel Power Tarot Cards"
by Doreen & Radleigh!
Four of Gabriel
"Time for celebration! Abundant rewards for hard work. Release yourself from burdensome situations"

"It's time for celebration! You've worked hard and are entitled to some rest and relaxation. Your project has come to a successful completion, and now you can feel a sense of great pride and happiness. Release yourself from situations that feel burdensome. Expand your social life. You deserve to have a little fun!
Important events such as an engagement, marriage, or moving in together as a couple likely. It's time of stability and peacefulness.
Additional meaning: A very special day. Freedom from responsibility. The joy of life. A promotion or a new job."."
What stands out for me with this card is: A time of stability and peacefulness.
Here's why it sticks out for me: After a battle between your ego and higher self - You know what I mean - with all of your "I should be doing this", "why am I so far behind", "I should be doing so much better than I am right nows", combined with your "When will it be my turn to win" blah, blah, blahs - That awful period of indecision, growing pains and mental torture - You have now taken inspired actions and are now moving in alignment with your mind and heart! Suddenly, your efforts have stopped being effort. The new rule that you made to throw all of yourself into this new dream - well this card is your signal that you are beginning to glide from the momentum of that effort - As if you are on a skateboard - you are now in that "kick, push, and coast" mode!
This card is about what you see upon the imagery - a gazebo where a man and a woman flow with each other in a romantic dip, while archangel Gabriel looks on approvingly from a higher perspective. Which means your higher self is absolutely beaming over your progress on your path!
So you can now appreciate the little things, the wins, the flow, and the ecstasy of being in harmony.
And guess what?
That means good things are magnetized to you. You feel better, so you do better and as the Law of Attraction states - do good, then you feel good and you are good.
The second message of this card is that you are free to step off from stressful and unnecessary situations where suffering is the only outcome.
Because your mind is in the right place, you're only a few steps away from right action occurring. So, if the Shangri-la that is mentioned in this card has not YET arrived, just keep that faith and you'll hit the big time shortly.
Release of all impediments to your joy is occurring, (that means that toxic situation where you feel helpless and stuck in - you know exactly what I'm talking about) Now that you are willing to entertain a better today / tomorrow - you will have the support and the right people, places and tools arrive to help you make a break for it.
If it is your own inner Gloominess that is contributing to the morale dip, then this card whispers to you - that there is a better way to live and be.
Here's why - let's talk about the symbols:
"Four is a number of "being", it is the number that connects mind-body-spirit with the physical world of structure and organization.
Four symbolizes the safety and security of home, the need for stability and strength on a solid foundation of values and beliefs."
Which means stability is now possible. Your coin is about to multiply. The right attitude is now available in your mind to experience prosperity, wholeness and the ease and grace your heart has always longed for.

You don't feel it's out of your reach now. You're ready to take the necessary steps to clear the space for the amazing to come into your world!
The angel Gabriel is the patron of creativity, support and guidance to help you achieve your goals. Whether you believe in celestial assistance or not - the energy that Gabriel embodies - is the wind beneath your wings, inspiring you to action, energizing you out of apathy and depression, and bringing order to chaos.
Think of it as the fuel to your jet that is about to lift you up out of misery and indecision and take you to the cockpit, give you the keys to fly your divine frame out of the war torn battlefield that your ego created. Not to blast your ego - but embrace it's corrective properties and signaling abilities to inform you that through love, there is a better way.
Embrace yourself as you hurt, so that you can heal what ails you with more tenderness, love and support.
You are free and this is a positive confirmation of this fact, that is nestled within the meaning of this card.
So let the energy of the positive motivate you, elevate you, and inspire you to greater heights.
Here is a quote to help illustrate:
"The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence."
Here's an affirmation to use to help get in the flow:
I have within me, right now, everything I need to deal with whatever the world throws at me ."
  And so it is.
And So It Is.

Job Responsibility
  by Charles Osgood

There was a most important job
that needed to be done,
And no reason not to do it,
there was absolutely none.

But in vital matters such as this,
the thing you have to ask
Is who exactly will it be
who'll carry out the task?

Anybody could have told you
that everybody knew
That this was something somebody
would surely have to do.

Nobody was unwilling;
anybody had the ability.
But nobody believed
that it was their responsibility.

It seemed to be a job
that anybody could have done,
If anybody thought he
was supposed to be the one.

But since everybody recognized
that anybody could,
Everybody took for granted
that somebody would.

But nobody told anybody
that we are aware of,
That he would be in charge
of seeing it was taken care of.

And nobody took it on himself
to follow through,
And do what everybody thought
that somebody would do.

When what everybody needed so
did not get done at all,
Everybody was complaining
that somebody dropped the ball.

Anybody then could see
it was an awful crying shame,
And everybody looked around
for somebody to blame.

Somebody should have done the job
And Everybody should have,
But in the end Nobody did
What Anybody could have.
What Brother Ernie said:
Chapter 3 -
The Unity of God and the Individual

It is fundamental to the philosophy of Science of Mind and Spirit that there can be no cause without an effect and no effect without a cause, even as there can be no inside without an outside, no outside without an inside, or a stick with only one end.

If we assume the Absolute or First Cause to be pure Intelligence and perfect Consciousness, we must assume that this Consciousness is aware of Itself, since there can be no consciousness unless there is something to be conscious of, to recognize. "The Spirit is the power that knows Itself" is one of the oldest sayings, and since the  individual unit, or person, is self-conscious, how much more so must be the Infinite Mind?

We cannot grasp the meaning of Infinite Consciousness nor fathom Its depths, but we argue from the known to the unknown, from our own minds, with their intelligent consciousness, to an Absolute Intelligence, which inter-spheres everything and is manifest through everything --- this Absolute Intelligence is the First Cause or that by which everything is made manifest.

All creation, ourselves included, is the result of the contemplation of this First Cause within and upon Itself. In taking form It gives form to the formless, thus expressing the reality of Its own contemplation, which expression of reality through any particular form produces the element of time, which  Dean Inge  tells us is a sequence of events in a unitary whole.

While neither time nor space are things of themselves, each exists as a necessary complement to the self-knowing mind, which would be unexpressed without time and space.
