This week's quote:
"Self -improvement gives way to ecstasy." - Alan Cohen
This Week's Affirmation
I acknowledge my own self-worth; my confidence is soaring.

Reverend Maryum's Weekly Prayer
I See Good in the Making
I recognize that all power, love, life, as well as the peace and order of God are deep within the center of my being. God is always here as the ground of my being.
I know who I am and what I am. I am unified with Spirit. I am a micro of the macro, we are a team. God does the creating, and I do the expressing. No barriers or blocks exist. There is only good in the making. I see and feel it as I say and embody these truths. Darkness fades as I embody the light. I now declare that I experience full self-expression. I clearly picture the creative experiences that I want and expect. I am original and I am unique. I find harmony within any chaos as I know God is taking care of the details and I am supported beautifully.
Profoundly grateful that the good I seek is already mine and is enhanced and expanded. I lovingly release my word to the Law. It is done. And so it is. Amen
Rev. Maryum Morse

Quotes About
Inner Peace
"You'll never find peace of mind until you listen to your heart."
George Michael
"Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be."
Wayne W. Dyer
"You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level."
Eckhart Tolle

Intuitive Card Reading just for You!
I am pulling a card from
"Archangel Power Tarot Cards"
by Doreen & Radleigh!
Queen of Ariel
Mature, Practical, Generous, Happy
"Nurture yourself and those you love! The ability to make anything more beautiful. Practical and wise advice."
Situations: Nurture yourself and those you love! This is a need of quality time with the people you care about the most. Practical and wise advice should be freely offered or accepted. You may see the truth clearly when those around you don't. You excel at taking care of others, but don't forget to take care of yourself! You have the gift of being able to make anything more beautiful.
People: A person who is giving and generous. Someone who always knows the right thing to do and helps out happily. An admirer of luxurious items. Mature, Practical, Warm, Kind.
Additional meaning: The balance between function and beauty. A big heart. A talented gardener."
What stands out for me with this card is: Balance between beauty and function.
Here's why - As always, I ask the Divine within me to help me choose the right card for the congregation. The Queen of Ariel is about having come to a level of mastery - tapping into the higher qualities within, harmony within the heart and mind and sharing that inner bounty with those near and dear to you.
We have come to a peaceful, easy feeling and self understanding. We have reached a level of healing that allows us to ACT from this newfound love and the only recourse is to be generous and share it.
This card can mean that it is already a done deal, or that you have it in your sights.   It's that feeling of climbing up a hill and surveying around you and the feeling welling up in your being is YES!
This means prosperity in the deepest sense.
Here's why - let's talk about the symbols:
Queen is majestic - she knows who she is, what she has, and if what she desires is not yet come into fruition, you can bet your bottom dollar, she has the patience and the self-respect to not have a tantrum about it.
Numerically speaking all court cards equal the number 10. A divine number, 10 means a return to unity, the fusion of being and non-being. The number 10 denotes the completion of a cycle, making 10 and Queen of Ariel means for us that we are getting what we want done on our terms!
Think GRACIOUSNESS, QUIET DETERMINATION, FACILITY. These words paint the picture of the qualities of a Priestess, Empress, Goddess - one who is in tune with the Universe and has made the request and KNOWS that is it coming her way.
Ariel (Pentacles in Rider Waite decks) is about the material, manifestations, bringing prosperity and wholeness into play.
Balance between beauty and function - it is more than the breathtaking beauty of the hummingbird in flight - it is gathering all that bounty to feed your needs. Mind and body coming into divine use - Doing what your soul came to do.
So how this plays out is: practical plans come to you. Harmony, blessings, abundance, setting a table that is not only beautiful but serves the purpose to nourish not only the body but the Soul!
You are bringing home the bacon, frying it up in the pan and never never letting them forget who you are. Man or Woman - you are attracting good and only good to you.
And if for some reason, the cosmic FedEx is slow in the delivery, you know that what you desire is on the way and you are rejoicing!
Here is a quote to help illustrate:
"When you can see mastery as a path you go down instead of a destination you arrive at, it starts to feel accessible and attainable. Most assume mastery is an end result, but at its core, mastery is a way of thinking, a way of acting, and a journey you experience".
Gary Keller
Here's an affirmation to use and let the peace from within flow:
" Life doesn't happen to me, it happens for me. I always focus on and find the good in everything."
  And so it is.
And So It Is.

Inspirational Poem:
In the midst of darkness
a moon appeared with its brilliance
stepping down from the clouds
it glanced at me
Like a falcon
that hunts a bird
and steals it away
it captured me
and flew back to infinite space
As I look for myself
I could not find me
for my body had become all soul
In the tenderness of love
The nine spheres of heaven
dissolved in that moon
As the ship of my existence
dissolved in the sea of love

What Brother Ernie said:
Chapter 7
"Whom Say Ye That I Am?"
ALMOST two thousand years this question has been reverberating through the halls of Time, "Whom say ye that I am?" And equally long we have been proving how little we knew about the correct answer. The requests that have been made "in the name of Christ" are so foreign to His nature that they reveal, with the clearness of a polished mirror, how little we have glimpsed of our real heritage.
In studying the life and teachings of Jesus, the most unique character in history, we discover a few simple ideas underlying his philosophy, the embodiment of which enabled him to become the Christ. Fundamental to his concept of life, was his belief in a Universal Spirit, which he called God, or the Heavenly Father. This Heavenly Father was an Intelligence to which He consciously talked and from which, undoubtedly, he received a definite reply.
Our whole philosophy,  spiritually conceived, is based on the assumption that such a Reality exists, that standing within and back of each one of us is God, the Eternal Presence as us; that this inner Presence is God, not something else; that there is nothing between us and It but our belief. Therefore, our thesis is that every man is a God, though in the germ; that within the most humble of us stands the personification of the Almighty; and that as much of this as we loose, through right knowing, is spiritual power.
That is what our practice is. It is not sitting around making incantations; it is not seeing how long we can hold our breath. It is not anything like that. What we are trying to do is so simple that we do not believe that it is.
Jesus said, "Believe!" Believe what? Believe that I am I."

This Brand New Day
© Abimbola T. Alabi
This brand new day I go in faith,
But I know not what lies in wait,
So dear God, this morning I pray,
Take control and lead the way.

I do not see with these two eyes,
I cannot tell where danger lies.
Please dear Lord, be my guide.
Let me not stray from Your side.

Show me today the journeys to make.
Steer me on the right paths to take.
Grant me grace to discern your will,
For when to strive and when to be still.

Help me to love and trust You more
And radiate Your love to my neighbor.
Then bring me back safe and sound,
And let my praise for You abound.
