Sister Linda Lukiewski SSJ
Receives the Pope Paul VI Award
January 9, 2022
Congratulations to Sister Linda Lukiewski SSJ, who has been honored with the Pope Paul VI Award.

This honor was awarded during the annual Mass and Award Ceremony for Parish Religious Education Programs on January 9, 2022, at Philadelphia’s Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

This honor is given in recognition for Linda’s service of Evangelization/Hispanic Minister at Saint Joan of Arc, Worship Site of Holy Innocents Parish.

In 2011, Linda began her work at St. Joan of Arc Church in Harrowgate as a pastoral minister and has worked to maintain the diverse worshipping community there, especially during its merger with Holy Innocents Parish in 2013 and the ensuing pandemic.

Linda has pioneered various Archdiocesan evangelization programs within the Latino community. She has taught in the Archdiocesan Ministerio Eclesia, served on many Archdiocesan Committees, but most importantly, has tried to support and accompany all those with whom she has come in contact, especially those who are poor, vulnerable and marginalized, on their faith journey.

We congratulate Linda on this well-deserved honor and for her dedication and outstanding service to the dear neighbors to whom she ministers every day.
