Fall Clean Up
Cecilian Village
McSherrystown, Pa

By Sister Mary Unger SSJ
A group of volunteers from our local Saint Joseph Catholic Home School Group came to help with our fall cleanup.

The group included 4 adults and 16 children ranging from kindergarten to middle school. The four families took time from homeschooling to pull weeds and mulch in the Sister of Saint Joseph Cemetery, around Cecilian Village and at the Convent. It was hard work!

When the project was completed, we enjoyed snacks and some time for the children to play in the playground. We are so grateful to ‘our friends’ for giving their time and effort to help us out.
