Sisters Share How They Are Living and Working During the COVID-19 Pandemic
St. Rose Convent
Belmar, New Jersey
by Marie O'Hagan SSJ
As a local community, we at St. Rose Convent in Belmar, NJ have always benefited from the generosity of our dear neighbors. Cognizant of our blessedness, and aware of the upcoming Christmas Season, on December 19th, we shared in the making of a full turkey dinner for the benefit of those in our area with few economic resources. Delivering thirty dinners to the New Jersey Rescue Mission graced us with a deeper awareness of the privilege of being called to live in the spirit of active inclusive love each day.
