Sunday's Gospel Text:

Mark 12:28-34

"All Saints Day is when we remember the dead, yes, but over time it has developed into a day to honor all saints, both past and present. What better way to honor them than to give thanks to God for their lives." ELCA

So this November 3, All Saints Sunday, we remember with love our friends and family that have passed in the past year but also those that we hold dear in our hearts every year. This year we remember Ted Rinebarger, Jan Audette, David Tucker and Carolyn Gartner. We are grateful for their lives and remember with great fondness their memories. We also remember those in our personal lives that we hold dear and say their names aloud or in our hearts now.

During worship we will reflect (and share if you're willing) about some of the saints, past and present, in our own lives.

Pastor Nicole' will start her new call at Trinity on December 1st. Her installation will be on Saturday, December 14th. (It's on a Saturday to allow other pastors to attend.) A reception will follow.

Our Prayer Team will pray for you and raise up your requests and praises to God.

Renell Pialet—Hip replacement surgery went great. Please pray for her healing and no blood clots this go round.

Schwarz family -- Tamara's father is battling bone cancer. Treatments are going well and he had a great check up last week, but he was not feeling well on Friday. He got admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and dehydration; they are giving him fluids and antibiotics. Healing Lord please help him through this time. Lord, also be with Tamara and the family as they rally and support a beloved father and grandfather.

Pastor Nicole's congregation -- this next Sunday will be her last day with them. Pray for Pr Nicole' as she ends a chapter to begin a new one. Pray for all her friends and family at Bethlehem as they say goodbye to a beloved pastor. December 2nd will be her first day at Trinity. Installation and reception will be on December14th. May this time be a blessing to her, us, our community, and the Synod.

Pastor Mary -- as she waits upon the Lord for his guidance and provision. Her last day of preaching and farewell reception are on November 17. May these last weeks be a blessing to Pastor Mary and us as we wish her God's peace and blessing in new endeavors. May they open quickly and profoundly resounding God's planning and provision.

Melissa Billiard -- prayers of thanksgiving and welcome as she embraces the youth ministry for our congregation. Thanks be to God.

Lord we thank you for the challenges and support you always give us when we come to you for strength, wisdom and comfort. Bless this time in our congregational life. Walk every minute of every day with us.
