Faith Promise Sunday
Join us at 9AM and 11AM this Sunday, January 13th for our Faith Promise Sunday! This year our guest speaker is Rev. Jaye White, Director of Outreach Ministry from the NC Conference of the UMC. Jaye is an ordained deacon. She and her husband currently live in Fayetteville, NC. They have two grown children and three dogs! She will be sharing the message at both the 9AM and 11AM services and she will also be sharing a few updates on UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) and the missional efforts to help the eastern part of NC after the hurricanes and flooding in 2018. You will not want to miss this special celebration on January 13 th !

Sensible Shoes --A Different Kind of Book Club
A new, 12-week book club based on the book Sensible Shoes by Sharon Garlough Brown is being offered on Tuesday evenings in the parlor (Rm. 104) beginning January 22.  This book club is open to women of all ages. Please e-mail Beth Gove or text her at 919/417-7947 to sign up.

First Place is a 12-week small group Bible study that takes a biblical approach to weight loss and overall health, which puts Christ first and improves every area of a person's life.

The next study, entitled Forever Changed, will begin on Sunday, January 13 from 5:00-6:30 pm in the parlor (Rm. 104). The cost of the book is $20

We will once again be offering a summer camp experience for children in completed Kindergarten through completed 8th grade at Chestnut Ridge in Efland, NC.

Middle & High School Youth are invited to join us on Friday night from 8pm - 8am for our annual Lock-In! We will be Midnight Bowling, playing Billiards, Arcade Gaming, participating in Late Night games at the Church, eating some good food & watching a group movie with Dessert!

ONLY HALF OF OUR GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED!
Please make a contribution to perform a face-lift on our church secretary's office. Plans are to build cabinets, add reception chairs, window blinds, new carpet, and lower the ceiling.
