MIDWEEK WEDNESDAY WORSHIP IN LENT
Please consider joining us each week of Lent for a Wednesday worship with Eucharist from 12:00 – 12:30 PM in the Goley Chapel. In each service, we will lift up a different spiritual discipline to experience and will then conclude our time by sharing together in Holy Communion:
• March 13th @ 12PM: “Practicing the Examen”
(Extra copies of this practice and the worship from last Wed can be found in our brochure racks)
• March 20th @ 12PM: “Practicing Lectio Divina”
• March 27th @ 12PM: “Practicing Intercessory Prayer”

Painted Lady Butterflies
On Sunday, March 31, children up through 5th grade are invited to visit Mr. Brian's office (Rm. 111) to pick out a caterpillar and watch it over the following weeks as it transforms into a butterfly. (Caterpillars will stay in Mr. Brian's office.)
On Easter Sunday, April 21, the butterflies will be released at 10:30am on the front lawn of the church.

Lamplighter's Ministry
Project Wheelchair Ramp
FUMC Graham Lamplighter's Ministry is planning to build a wheelchair ramp for a member of our church. Please contact Trey Rice (336-266-0126) if you would like to volunteer your time and/or give a monetary donation for supplies.
Kids On A Mission Project
T he next Kids On A Mission project for children in Kindergarten through the 5th grade is on Sunday, March 17 from 2:30-5:30pm (meet in room 132). The children will make a craft and deliver it to residents at Peak Resources in Graham. Afterwards, we will stop by Smitty's for free ice cream (parents can pick up there).
Children are asked to please bring a completed permission form.

Our annual Canned Food Drive is back! Donate to your favorite college team at the Coffee Shop or sanctuary breezeway entrances and spread the word. Donations will supply several organizations!

Playschool Fundraiser
Two of our Playschool families are currently experiencing health crises. The Playschool staff will be holding a hotdog lunch fundraiser on Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21 at 12noon to collect funds to assist with medical expenses. If you would like to come, please call Playschool Director Faye Waddell at 336/227-9148 or download the form and put it in the mailbox on her office door (Rm. 119).

NC Diaper Bank in Durham
Several members of our United Methodist Women will be working at the NC Diaper Bank on Saturday, March 23. Please donate diapers (any size, including adult), wipes, and feminine products by March 20. Turn your donations in to the church office (Rm. 113) or to Susan Rayle or Jeanne Owen .
Forty Days / Forty Items
A Lenten Project
The Gordon Painter Sunday School Class invites you to participate in their Lenten Project--40 Days / 40 Items. During Lent, remove one clean and usable item from your home to put into a trash bag. Bring the bag to the Gordon Painter classroom (Rm. 104) on Easter Sunday, and the class will deliver your items to Trollinger Treasures.

Donations for a Church Van
Our Board of Directors has asked us to consider prayerfully helping to raise money to purchase a new-to-us van. Our van is used extensively for bringing people to church and for transporting youth, children, and adults to participate in church projects. Our goal is for 150 gifts of $100 apiece, payable in increments if desired. If you would like to help, please mark your gift “Van Replacement Fund.”
Donations of Earrings Needed
Our children are collecting old earrings (singles and pairs) between now and March 17 for a craft project to be given to the residents at Peak Resources. If you have earrings that you don't use, please donate them. Collection bins will be located in the coffeeshop (Rm. 135) and in the sanctuary breezeway.
