All members of the Administrative Council and other key leaders are invited to a Leaders Retreat (held at FUMC Friday Night and Saturday morning) to set the ministry priorities for 2020 in line with our vision, mission, and core values. The retreat will be held in Goley Chapel and begins at 6pm Friday. If you wish to attend and have not yet responded, please email Pastor Claire so that we may plan for you!
In Honor of the Ministry of
Doug Rayle
On January 12, 2020 , at the 11am traditional worship service, we will have a time of music to celebrate Doug Rayle's 40 years of service at FUMC-G. Doug, who has been playing for churches for 55 years, joined our church staff in January 1980 as the organist. He became the Director of Music in September 1992, expanding his responsibilities. Mark your calendars so that you can enjoy a service filled with music and celebration!

Dear Lord, three things I pray:
to see you more clearly,
love you more dearly,
and follow you more nearly,
day by day.
-Richard of Chichester, 13th Century

This week we celebrate a remembrance of our baptism at The Well (9am) and we celebrate 40 years of music ministry with Doug Rayle here at FUMC. The 11am service will be a "mostly music" service to celebrate with Doug his lifelong gift of music ministry.

We continue to lift up those in military service who are facing deployment in these days and for their families. We pray for them, their safety, and for the peace of the world.

Doughnut Delivery Needed!
Our Hospitality Team is looking for a volunteer to pick up doughnuts from Tasty Bakery in Graham on Saturday afternoons between 3:30 and 4pm and drop them off at the church. We particularly need help on the 4 fifth Sundays of the year. Is this something that you could do to serve our church? It's a quick task but a wonderful way to bring smiles to a bunch of faces early on a Sunday morning! Please e-mail Anita Sherer if you are interested or would like more information. Thanks!
Volunteer Opportunity
Our Board of Directors is looking for a person or persons who would be willing to take our recycling bins out to the road every other week for pickup and return them the next day. Please contact Chris Fulkerson or the church office if you are interested in helping.
