Sixth Sunday of Easter
O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good
things as surpass our understanding: Pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

52ND ANNUAL MEETING OF CONVENTION:
ADAPTING TO THE TIMES
|
In the Bishop's message on May 11, 2020, he shared the possibility of a virtual gathering for the Diocesan Annual Meeting in October. He asked that churches review their delegate lists to determine which persons would best serve in this capacity to engage in online communication and virtual gatherings. Education Day, held the day before, will be completely online. Above all, we need to remain flexible, prayerful, and adaptable to whatever these uncertain times may bring. Stay tuned for more information as plans progress.

Pandemic to reshape how congregations worship as dioceses prepare to resume in-person gatherings
|
Get ready. The pandemic could change everything that Episcopalians once took for granted about attending church. A reservation could be required to worship in person. Services might not even take place in the church, if the parish hall or an outdoor area can better accommodate social distancing. “No” to handshakes at the peace. “Yes” to wearing masks. Singing is a conflicted “maybe.”
