SCOA Advocating for Increased Reimbursement in Workers' Compensation

The South Carolina Orthopaedic Association recently offered comments related to the proposed Medical Services Provider Manual (MSPM) update. Click here to see the letter sent by the SCOA to Gary Cannon, Executive Director of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission.


We look forward to future collaboration with Stakeholders and the Commission to pursue medical provider payment reform for workers’ compensation services in South Carolina.

Time is Running Out to Submit an Expert Talk for the 2025 SCOA Annual Meeting!

Approximately 60 minutes of the 2025 SCOA Annual Meeting program will be dedicated to Expert Talks, where practicing orthopaedic surgeons will have the opportunity to present on clinical or business topics. These presentations will range from 10–20 minutes each, depending on the number of submissions selected.


Our goal is to provide a platform for topics that may not be covered in formal research, giving you the chance to share your expertise and practical experience with peers.
