Board Chair’s Message of Gratitude to

Ralph de Chabert

Ralph de Chabert is a founding board member from the time of The Centre’s establishment in 2017. Ralph continued as a board member longer than he had planned, with his commitment and instrumental role in the ED search efforts and transitions for The Centre. Although he resigned from the board on June 1, we are forever grateful for his contributions.

In his time at Brown Forman, Ralph has been deeply involved in the community, serving on a number of boards. Today, he is continuing that role and commitment to support black-led organizations in Louisville, in building these organizations and redesigning their programs to be appropriately positioned as outcome-focused. These developments include the building of a girls’ school, redevelopment of an early childhood development center, and the creation of an accredited teacher education program for a local historically black college. Each one is a huge task in itself!

Ralph has taken on these roles, in addition to his commitment to The Centre’s Board. It is evident that Ralph is a difference-maker! He is very generous with his time to support causes that are important to us all.

I want to say a big thank you to Ralph for his time, efforts, and support of The Centre! Ralph has been a huge support to me in the last year as Board Chair while we make some transitions. I personally would not be where I am today without him and his presence as we have made the journey. So, personally, and on behalf of the Board, thank you Ralph for all that you have been to us as individuals, and to The Centre.

We all wish you continued success.

With great appreciation,

Board Chair, The Centre for Global Inclusion

Building Better Towards a More Inclusive Future

Since 2017, we have made a difference. Our efforts in being a global player in the DEI space have given us a uniqueness that offers knowledge, networks, and expertise from all parts of the world. In fact, it is due to this uniqueness that Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB), which is provided free to use, has been and continues to be, the cornerstone of our success. We have given a voice to many people to share their insights and views on the issues happening. We continue to be the connector around the world.

This year, The Centre has developed its Strategic Plan, which is set for three years. It is an ambitious program that will hopefully excite our donors, contributors, and supporters. To sustain the momentum, we humbly ask for donations. We are creating a new journey.

We are building toward a new and enhanced image, offering a new lens on how we will be global. In the coming weeks and months, you will see a shift in our webinars, newsletters, website, and how we work with our donors and sponsors. To achieve the dream of how we can provide significant support to all regions of the globe in their DEI work and practices, requires financial support. Our budget reflects the multi-million dollar needs to achieve the results we seek for our followers, and users of our products and services around the globe.

Through your donations, we will be able to move forward and guide more people. At the end of the day, we all share the same goal of making the world inclusive for all.
