MLB Hall-of-Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. helps to unveil Read-Dunning Park
|

On Tuesday, May 28th, MLB Hall-of-Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. was a part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Read-Dunning Youth Development Park, a multisport athletic field on the Northwest Side of Chicago, where Saint Patrick High School will begin play this August. Ripken also posed for photos with Shamrocks from the baseball, football and soccer teams. Click below for the story.

Shamrock baseball wins back-to-back Regional Championships!

Shamrock Baseball won their second Regional Championship in a row to advance to the Sectional Semi-Finals before falling in heartbreaking fashion to Montini Catholic at Kerry Wood Cubs Field Wednesday night bringing their 20-game win season to an end.

Shamrock Volleyball wins 8th Regional Championship in a row!
|
|
Shamrock Volleyball defeated Walter Payton College Prep in the Regional Final on Kurland Court to secure their 8th Regional Championship in a row and 14th in 15 years! Saint Patrick went on to defeat Lane Tech in the Sectional Semi-Finals before losing to top-ranked Oak Park River Forest in the Sectional Championship Game.

Theatre Department to perform Xanadu this summer
|

This summer, the Theatre Department will produce Xanadu starring alumni, professional actors and students with performances Friday, July 19 - Sunday, July 21 and Friday, July 26 - Sunday, July 28. Showtimes are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Tickets are $12 and free for students with SPHS ID. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired.
