This Week at Memorial...
People often say to me, "I don't understand the Bible, but I want to." In the survey we conducted for Strategic Planning many of you indicated that you want to learn more about the Bible. The Bible can feel like a mystery and is definitely not a simple read. Yet, it is beautiful, life-giving, and accessible, especially when read in a community. Our focus Sunday for worship will be the Bible.
We will unpack basic truths and misconceptions about the Bible, while seeking to learn how to apply the Bible to our lives. During worship we will also present our 3rd graders with Bibles of their own. Those children are then invited to join in a retreat after church that will begin to build their foundation of Bible reading and understanding.
When  you  come to  worship  on  Sunday,
I encourage you to bring your own Bible to use in worship.  If you do not have a Bible and would like one please let me know and the church will get one for you.

Blessings,
Pastor Carrie

Call for Selfies! We need to see your lovely face!!
To help our pastors/teachers & event leaders, Memorial is putting together a picture reference guide for individual study classes, communities & events. (i.e.: Lunch & Learn, Wednesday night studies, Sunday School classes, etc.)
To achieve this goal, we would like to include a picture of each individual attendee. Even if you did have a picture made for the church directory please send us your “selfie”.
Pictures will be uploaded and kept in our software database.  They will not be used for general distribution.
Please send your selfies to RSVP@mumconline.com with the subject line: “Selfie” & your full name (ie: Carrie Yoder).
Attachment should be a personal close-up shot. If you aren’t proficient in the “art of selfie taking”, have a friend help or send it in for you. Someone you know will be able to help!
Additionally, if any of your contact information has changed (address/phone/etc.), please include the change in your email so that we might keep our records current.
We look forward to seeing your smiling faces!
