New Plans in Progress – Rolesville Next and Rolesville Moves
Rolesville and the surrounding area is growing rapidly and the Town has embarked on two major planning projects to help set a vision for the future. The Town has hired a consultant to assist in updating the Unified Development Ordinance, or UDO, as well as the Community Transportation Plan. The UDO is a consolidated document that contains all of the Town’s land use and development requirements: Rolesville NEXT. These requirements address specific topics and standards ranging from review procedures and zoning districts to development standards and definitions. A Community Transportation Plan, or CTP, will establish Rolesville’s local vision for transportation and identify ways to achieve it: Rolesville MOVES. The CTP will help us coordinate with future development, establish policies and programs, and get projects funded. Transportation is an important part of our daily life in Rolesville, it affects how we move through the area and how we experience our town. For more information and to stay up to date on the progress of both plans, visit  https://www.rolesvillenc.gov/planning/whats-new-plans-progress .

Additional COVID-19 Resources For Your Business
North Carolina took early and aggressive action to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our state. These actions prevented our healthcare systems from being overwhelmed and provided valuable time to build our state’s capacity to respond to this crisis. Now, we are seeing increasing cases and hospitalizations from COVID-19 across our state. With more North Carolinians leaving their homes as we ease restrictions, the risk for COVID-19 exposure and infection increases.

To help you get out the word about North Carolina’s ongoing efforts, DHHS is providing the social media resources and flyers below. The materials are provided in English and Spanish. Also, please note that the Check My Symptoms flyers have an additional option to add your organization’s logo and branding information.

The Resuming Business Toolkit is designed to assist employers in slowing the spread of COVID-19 [1] and lowering the impact in their workplace when reintegrating employees into non-healthcare business settings. Not sure whether you’re ready to resume business? Use CDC’s decision tools [2-3] as a start.

This toolkit includes the following materials:
Employer Sheet
Restart Readiness Checklist
Worker Protection Tool
Returning to Work Infographic

The restrictions are vitally important, as it is clear the COVID-19 is still prevalent, and we need to continue to take special precautions. While they are taking precautions, they want you to know that they open and ready for your business.

They are working hard to stay connected to you and provide you with quality service and products. If you are not clear on what to do or how to shop, please take the time to contact that business directly. They appreciate and need your business!
