Pilgrimage for peace in the Holy Land

During an Aug. 18, 2024, interfaith prayer service for peace along the Israel-Gaza border at the Maon Synagogue near Nirim, an air raid siren sent participants including Rev. Larry Clark, a United Methodist pastor from Toledo, Ohio.  to the ground to take cover.

As war drives away tourists, the Rev. Clark joined 11 other Christians from the U.S. in a trip to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to mistreatment of Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
