You'll recall that in last Sunday's sermon Charlie included an encounter between John Wesley and Moravian missionary Peter Böhler in which Wesley asked, "How can you preach to others if you don't have faith yourself?"....

During an Aug. 18, 2024, interfaith prayer service for peace along the Israel-Gaza border at the Maon Synagogue near Nirim, an air raid siren sent participants including Rev. Larry Clark, a United Methodist pastor from Toledo, Ohio.  to the ground to take cover.

As war drives away tourists, the Rev. Clark joined 11 other Christians from the U.S. in a trip to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to mistreatment of Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

General Conference 2024 Leadership The Council of Bishops (COB) of The United Methodist Church (UMC) is announcing a Leadership Gathering for 2026 that will advance the positive momentum of the 2020/24 General Conference and prepare the denomination for the 2028 General Conference.

Setting the Course for Creative Collaboration and Transformation The Ministry Hub is the new Conference leadership team, replacing the Strategic Leadership Team and the Conference Table. Each ministry area in the Conference relates to one of the seven areas of the Ministry Hub. It was recommended by the Realignment Task Force and adopted at June's Annual Conference.
