St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Honolulu will be holding a special concert, 'Onipa'a, Honoring Queen Lili'uokalani, on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at 4:30 PM. Uncle Hartwell, a beloved member of the Cathedral, died on January 29, 2019. His funeral was held on March 1. Because of his long and devoted service to the Cathedral and our community, we will celebrate his life in a special Evensong on June 2, 2019, 5:30 PM, with the Cathedral Choir and Orvis choral scholars, under the direction of Music Director Todd Beckham. Service music will feature Charles Villiers Stanford’s Evening Service in C, as well as the anthem, Evening Hymn by Henry Balfour Gardner.

The Cathedral will host a 5-day summer fun camp session June 17-21, 2019, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The camp will be led by highly-trained Camp Mokule'ia staff and visiting Camp Kanuga staff from North Carolina, co-sponsored by the Cathedral along with St. Peter's and St. Paul's. There will be a training for Eucharistic Ministers and Eucharist Visitors on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, Von Holt Room. Training will begin at 9:00 AM for both until lunch. After lunch, those intending to become Eucharistic Visitors will stay until 3:30 PM. More information and registration can be found HERE. People from the neighbor islands may attend this training, but airfare will not be covered by the Diocese. Neighbor island trainings are being scheduled.

St. Michael and All Angels' ReSource for Christian Spirituality will be holding their annual ti-leaf lei making workshop on Saturday, June 15, 2019, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, at Lihue Christian Church, 2943 Kress Street in Lihue. The leis will be placed on gravesites at Kalaupapa, Moloka'i, by Lei Halia volunteers. Lots of ti leaves are needed and should be boned and put in baggies. They can be dropped off on Sundays at St. Michael's, where they will be placed in the freezer until the workshop. All Saints' Episcopal Church will be hosting a special presentation, Invite-Welcome-Connect, on Saturday, August 31, 2019, led by its founder, Mary Parmer. The Diocese of Hawai'i is bringing Parmer to O'ahu for an event on September 7, and All Saints' is arranging for her to come to Kaua'i beforehand so that people on the Garden Island will be able to learn about this new ministry. Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Wailuku, will be holding a Vacation Bible School, on June 14 & 15, 2019. Children 9 years and up are welcome to stay for overnight lock-in, and children under 9 will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to stay overnight. Please register before Friday, June 7. The staff at Camp Mokule'ia will be offering youth camp sessions on Maui, July 16-20, 2019, at Camp Keanae in Haiku. There will be an Elementary Camp (finished grades 2-5) and a Middle School Camp (finished grades 6-8). Cost is $345 per child. The annual A Cup of Cold Water (ACCW) appreciation event will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 4:00-6:00 PM, at Trinity By-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Kihei. The gathering of ACCW volunteers and friends is to honor and thank all for work, support, prayers with our outreach mission to serve the neediest of Maui with the essentials for life—especially served with compassion.

St. Jude's Episcopal Church will be holding a Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner on Friday, July 12, 2019. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and dinner is served at 6:00 PM.
