St.Timothy's Paniolo Pa'ina BBQ Fundraiser & Fun
St.Timothy's Episcopal Church will be holding a Paniolo Pa'ina BBQ on Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 PM. BBQ Dinner includes beef, chicken, rice, side and drink for only $15. Along with dinner, there will be games, entertainment, a bake sale and silent auction, and folks are also encouraged to "Dunk Father Dan" in the dunk tank! Call (808) 488-5747 for tickets. Support St. Mark's Youth Outreach: August Collection
For years, St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Honolulu has been supporting the Youth Outreach of Hale Kipa in Waikiki, preparing and delivering hot meals every Friday and donating needed items. They have recently purchased 50 backpacks, and for the month of August, are requesting large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and underwear to fill the backpacks for these at-risk youth. An Invitation to the 5th Annual Queen Lili'uokalani Birthday Commemoration at Soldiers Chapel
All are invited to attend this special ceremony taking place at Soldiers Chapel in Schofield Barracks, Wahiawa, on Saturday, August 31, 2019. The event will run from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM, and is hosted by the Schofield Army Chaplains, St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and the Pacific Justice and Reconciliation Center.

Save the Date: International Peace Day
This year, International Peace Day will be observed on Saturday, September 21, 2019, and organizers on O'ahu are planning a campaign for peace and nonviolence at the Kuhio Towers Community Center in Honolulu. The day's activities will include a rally, march, singing and chanting, sign waving, and lunch, beginning at 9:00 AM. Attention All Young Adults!
Are you the only young adult in your parish, stuck between Sunday school and adult forum? Looking for a way to connect with your peers, and deepen your faith? We want to hear from you! We are interested in putting together a Bible study for young adults (18-35), as a way to deepen our connections to one another and to God. Mark your calendars and save the date! Emmanuel Episcopal Church's 17th annual Chocolate Extravaganza is coming up on Saturday, November 9, 2019, and you don't want to miss it! Along with an all-you-can-eat decadent chocolate buffet, the event features a Silent Auction with incredible items for sale, and a VIP pre-event that always sells out quickly. One 'Ohana Habitat for Humanity Project Moves to Anahola
Kaua'i's One 'Ohana group that invites all Episcopalians to perform service in the community, has begun work on three new homes in Anahola. The group meets once a month, and their next work day will be on Saturday, August 24 (WAS August 17). All interested persons should e-mail Ron Morinishi for details. Invite-Welcome-Connect coming to Kaua'i
All Saints' Episcopal Church will be hosting a special presentation, Invite-Welcome-Connect, on Saturday, August 31, 2019, led by its founder, Mary Parmer. The Diocese of Hawai'i is bringing Parmer to O'ahu for an event on September 7, and All Saints' is arranging for her to come to Kaua'i beforehand so that people on the Garden Island will be able to learn about this new ministry. Kalaupapa Fall Service Retreat
St. Michael and All Angel's ReSource for Christian Spirituality is getting ready for another service retreat in Kalaupapa, Moloka'i, October 23-27, 2019. Along with learning about the history, culture and the people of Kalaupapa, they will also be volunteering to clean, paint, and tend to the historic buildings and grounds there. A Cup of Cold Water Volunteer Appreciation
The annual A Cup of Cold Water (ACCW) appreciation event will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 4:00-6:00 PM, at Trinity By-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Kihei. The gathering of ACCW volunteers and friends is to honor and thank all for their hard work, support, and prayers for our outreach mission to serve the neediest of Maui with the essentials for life—especially served with compassion.
St. John's Kula Festival
St. John's Episcopal Church in Kula will be holding their annual Kula Festival on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This popular community event features ono food, kids games, produce, plant, flowers, baked goods, crafters, quilt show, auction, live entertainment all day. Holy Apostles is collecting school supplies for students in need with a School Supplies Drive beginning Sunday, August 4 through August 25. Christian Formation at Holy Apostles ICONS: Windows to Heaven or Idolatry?
