Second Sunday of Easter
Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery
established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all
who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body
may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

EfM MENTOR TRAINING
|
Education for Ministry (EfM) will be offering a weekend mentor training beginning on Friday, May 24 at 2:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the St. Anthony's Retreat Center in Kalihi. Meals will be provided and rooms are available at the Retreat Center.
What is Education for Ministry? It is is a four-year program in religious studies and reflection from the School of Theology at the University of the South. Participants enroll one year at a time, meeting weekly in a small group (no less than 6 people, no more than 12), with a trained mentor.
The EfM mentor brings skills in working effectively with small groups. Responsibility for the life of the group belongs to everyone, but the mentor is the convener as well as being a group member.
Every baptized person is called to ministry. The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people with the education to carry out that ministry.Through study, prayer, and reflection, EfM groups move toward a new understanding of the fullness of God's kingdom.
If you are interested in learning more about the training,
e-mail Pam McCoy, or register on-line by clicking on the link below. For more information about EfM, visit the Diocesan website
