As a reminder, in the event of a snowfall that is expected or does exceed two inches, NO overnight parking will be permitted on any village street. Avoiding street parking during a snowfall allows snowplows to have more room to remove snow.

What Should You Do With Your Light Strand that Doesn't Work? Recycle It!

Woodridge residents may recycle non-working holiday lights at Woodridge Village Hall, 5 Plaza Drive or Public Works building, 1 Plaza Drive. The Village is partnering with Elgin Recycling to offer this free service to residents from November 21, 2022, through March 3, 2023. Please - no CFLs.
Woodridge VFW Scholarship Opportunities

Woodridge Memorial VFW Post 1578, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, has established the Jim Stewart VFW Memorial Scholarship with the intention of assisting one or more high school students in their pursuit of continuing education. The applicant must be graduating from either Downers Grove North or Downers Grove South High School (CSD 99) in the current year with plans to pursue a higher education as well as a descendant of a VFW-eligible veteran.
