All Classes / All Ages - This week is Easter and we will take a screen break and join our church family for an in person Easter service in the church parking lot at 10:00am.
(see above for info)
|
|
PreK / Early Elementary - Following the Easter worship service in the parking lot, young kids are invited to go around the building to the memorial garden to hunt for Easter Eggs - symbols of the stone that was rolled away and the new life we have in the risen Christ. Wear your mask, bring your favorite basket and join us!
Check out this really quick video showing how to say Happy Easter in sign language and we’ll use it to greet each other Sunday. We’ll add it to the sign we’ve already learned for “Jesus” and on Sunday one of our friends will show us how to add “resurrection / is risen”.
Submerge (4th-8th grade) - Before the Easter worship service, junior youth are invited to meet in the Memorial Garden at 9:30am to hide eggs for the kids. Then after the service, come back to the garden to help with the hunt and social distancing. Make sure to wear your mask!
High School Discussion - We won’t meet online this week, but it will be great to worship together in the parking lot with all who can make it!

You can watch the instructional video on the right. Help is needed for about an hour on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday afternoons (possibly Fridays as well). If you have any questions or want to inquire, please email the church office at chatumc@optonline.net
