The fee for parking spaces is $180.

Only students that are classified as Seniors are eligible to enter the lottery. This means you must have earned 18 or more credits.

The week of August 14, students will be notified of lottery results by email. (Results of the lottery will be shared via HISD student email addresses.) The spots are non-transferrable. You MAY NOT give or sell your spot to anyone. If you decline your spot, it will be given to someone on the waiting list.

Payment and contract instructions will be sent to students via their HISD email accounts. Students that are selected in the lottery will submit their $180 payment via School Pay and keep a copy of their receipt, a copy of their insurance, and their driver's license to Ms. Frank in the Main Office beginning August 21.

Senior Home Lunch Permits
Twelfth-grade students may leave Bellaire High School campus during the lunch hour only if parent(s) grant written permission and students meet all requirements. Failure of students to abide by the policy and maintain good standing as a student will result in the privilege being revoked. A new ID will be issued once approval is granted.

Students must meet the following conditions in order to receive the privilege of leaving campus at lunchtime.
  • 5 or less absences in any period
  • No level III discipline violations.
  • No more than 5 tardies in any class
  • No failing cycle grades in any class.

The following information is included on the Home Lunch Permit Request:
My son/daughter has my permission to eat lunch at home. I relieve the Houston Independent School District of all responsibility for his/her safety. All HISD rules of conduct apply during this interim of the day. I understand that if my child goes to lunch any place other than home, he/she will be in violation of Houston and Harris County’s daytime curfew which may result in a citation being issued by the police if the student is apprehended.

I have reviewed the school conditions above for maintaining this privilege and agree that the Assistant Principal will terminate the permit at any time if my child does not continue to meet these conditions. If a student’s home lunch permit is revoked, another application must be completed the following semester to have the privilege reinstated once it is terminated. A new student ID must be purchased for $5.00 if the privilege is terminated and my home lunch ID turned in to the school administration.
Student IDs
New IDs will be printed this year for all students. There will be a different design, so previous years’ IDs cannot be reused.

Last year’s school photos will be used for 10th-12th graders who took one. All 9th graders and new enrollees will need to submit an ID photo. Emails were sent this week to 9th graders prompting them to set up an account in the ID system. This email will NOT come from HISD, so please be sure to check through all emails in the school account. Students should check their SPAM if they do not see the email. If a student is unable to upload a picture we will have a team taking pictures at Cardinal Camp.

Once an account is set up, students can upload an ID photo. All photos will be reviewed for approval. To be approved, the photo must meet the following criteria:
  • The photo should be taken with a simple background. Think a passport or state ID photo.
  • The student should be facing directly into the camera.
  • The student should not be wearing hats, hoodies, headphones or Airpods.

Students whose photos are not approved will receive an email in their HISD account stating the issue and prompting them to submit a new photo.
