Hello Friends,

I want to give you an update about Jerry Cunningham, he is now on hospice care at his home in Mendham. I spent some time on Saturday afternoon with Jerry, his wife Isabelle, and their granddaughter Aurora. He is in good spirits but gets winded easily. During our conversation he talked about the love that has been so present and life giving in the CUMC over the years.

He is not up for a visit but might be up for a brief phone call or better yet, a card that he can read. I assured him and his family that if there is anyway we can be present or of help to him or his family, to let us know. Jerry and Isabelle know of our love, and our care for them, and will take the lead in letting us know if they need our help in some way. Here is their home address:

With love, with prayer and with trust,
Happy 2021 CUMC! Since it is a New Year it is time for the annual SouperBowl of Caring Food Drive, which directly benefits the CUMAC Food Bank in Patterson NJ. I will be holding the collection now through March 28th (Palm Sunday).

Please consider dropping canned goods, non-perishable food items, or monetary donations at either at my house (119 Lafayette Avenue Chatham NJ 07928) or email me ( and I will pick them up from your home. In recent years, we have been able to help hundreds of families in need, and I am hoping that we can continue this worthy cause, despite the uncertainties of the pandemic. Thank you in advance for your donations and continuous support! ~Kate Ziegler
