Library News
It has been a busy week of classes this week. Ms. Carpenter collaborated with 5 teachers this week to bring various learning opportunities to students. One of the most exciting lessons was presenting to all club presidents & officers on 1/13 about branding their clubs and making the most of their time during cardinal hour. We conducted a SWOT analysis, which is a common analysis done in business and engineering fields to evaluate the success of a project, looking at the clubs' current strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. We talked about how partnerships with clubs and community can enhance their impact and membership.
World History classes and Forensic Science classes came into the library for research lessons specific to their field of study. The English I classes started to come in for a library tour, orientation, and self-check out for individual reading. While the library is busy, we are happy to be providing opportunities for students outside the traditional classroom.
