Summer break may be here, but we are busy preparing for our Parent's Day Out beginning this Fall! Enrollment is increasing by the day and we are so excited to welcome so many new families to our campus. Our teachers have created a wish list for their classrooms to help them prepare for this exciting time! For those who are so inclined, you may click through and order anything you would like to donate and it will be shipped to the church office directly. The list includes items from cleaning wipes all the way up to furniture, to allow anyone who may like to participate. Alternatively, if you would like to make a monetary donation to the cause, you may note PDO on a check and come by the office or drop it in the offering plate.

Parish Work Day Saturday July 29th

Roll up your sleeves and help us prepare for our upcoming Parent's Day Out program! There will be plenty of work for all ages!

St. Cyprian’s has a long history of serving those in need and making a positive impact in our community. In keeping with that tradition of service to others, we are excited to announce a special opportunity to provide toiletries and other personal items to the Deep East Texas Resource Center (DETRC) in North Lufkin. The DETRC is a remarkable organization dedicated to helping individuals and families facing

challenging circumstances. Not only do they provide food through their food pantry, but they also connect people to essential social services and other helpful resources such as rent and utility assistance, affordable medical care, childcare programs, school supplies, and nutrition programs.

One of the most pressing needs they have identified is a lack of access to basic toiletries. With this in mind, we are launching a toiletry donation drive to support the DETRC mission and assist them in serving our neighbors who are in need.

We have designated a collection point in the Parish Hall where you can drop off donations of new unopened toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products and toilet paper. Please ensure that all items are within their expiration dates. The toiletry drive will be running from Sunday June 18th until Sunday July 16th.

Together, as a church family, we can make a tremendous impact on the lives of those who need it most. By providing essential toiletry items, we are not just offering physical comfort, but also demonstrating our love and compassion. Let’s come together, as we always do, to show our support for our neighbors.

Our generosity and kindness will go a long way in brightening the lives of those facing challenging times.
