STEWARDSHIP 2025

Stewardship Update!

As of November 27 we are at 95% of our financial goal and 81% of our of pledge goal! Everyone on the Stewardship team is floored by the outpouring of support from Emmanuel! Thank you so much to everyone that pledged.

We now hope that those who have not submitted a pledge will consider it! It takes all pledges, all amounts and all people to make our financial goals. Help us get that last 5%!

How do I pledge?

WHAT'S UP @EEC?

Festival Flower & Music Fund

Each Christmas we provide special brass and organ music performed by professionals at the Christmas Eve 5 pm & 10 pm services, and also we purchase poinsettias and greens to adorn the church in celebration of Christ's birth.

To help offset the cost to the church, we are asking parishioner to contribute to the Festival Flower & Music fund. To contribution:

Many people like to make this contribution in memory or thanksgiving of someone or something. If you wish to contribute with a thanksgiving or remembrance, we ask you fill out this form by Wednesday, December 18. Names will not be accepted by email! Contact Elliot with any questions (not names).

Poinsettia Deliveries on Dec 8

Every Christmas, Emmanuel purchases poinsettias to deliver to parishioners who are unable to attend, who had a death in the family this past year or those who may be ill.

We need your help to do that! After the Advent Celebration during our formation hour on Dec 8, there will be tables in the chapel. Come pick up a poinsettia (or two), a card, and an address for delivery. Contact Peg Copper for more information.

The Giving Tree

The tree will go up on the first Sunday of Advent, December 1. It will be located outside, next to the memorial garden. You may take a tag to remind you that we are collecting, but tags are not necessary. In the Christmas Packet there is a listing of the gifts/gift cards we are collecting from Dec. 1 through Dec. 15.

Gifts may be left in the blue bins or if a gift card, please deposit in the mailbox on the piano in the parish hall!

We will distribute the gifts to Episcopal City Mission, LifewiseStL and Webster-Rock Hill Ministries.

WOE Belles Brunch - Dec 7 at 10am

Let's take time together before all that Christmas shopping and merry making kicks in to high gear. Bring food to share, if it works with your schedule (fruit, bagels, muffins, casserole etc.). If the demands of the season already have you frazzled, just bring yourself. We’ll make do.

We’ll eat together and talk - and then, those who can stay will put together feminine hygiene bags for Isaiah 58 ministries. Peg Cooper will lead us in putting together these basic necessities and Isaiah ministries will provide all supplies. HOWEVER, if you want to add some ‘extras’, you can bring Tampons (Super and Ultra-super) and/or incontinence pads (especially the higher # ones, 5,6 or higher). There is a demand for these items as well.

Clarion Call!

Clarion Brass is holding a concert at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood on Dec 6, at 2pm. Tickets are $20. You can purchase tickets by using the QR code found in the flyer below or at the door on concert day.
