We Care
MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS DAY
TODAY

Dtown CARES is hosting a Mental Health and Wellness Day for students today, Friday, October 20th, to bring awareness to mental health issues and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. More than 25 school and community organizations will share resources with students. "We care about our students' psychological, emotional, and physical health and want them to know that we care," noted Dallastown Area High School counselor Alison Wabnik.

The event will include guided interactive activities during homeroom and an assembly by a young adult speaker from Minding Your Mind, a provider of mental health programs to students.

The event is sponsored by the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation and Bartz Brigade.
