As part of the Dallastown Area School District food service program in recognition of National School Lunch Program Week, Chartwells Food Services will be providing a free breakfast meal to all students as follows:

ELEMENTARY

A free breakfast meal will be available to Kindergarten students all week.

HIGH      

Have you submitted a Free and Reduced Priced School Meals Application this year? If you qualify for free or reduced meals, that benefit is also good for breakfast meals. Take a look at our selections. We hope your child can join us!

It'll Be a Graveyard Smash!

Whether it's called a Transylvania Twist or a Monster Bash, don't worry, you'll catch on in a flash. Dallastown Area School District boys in Kindergarten through Grade 6 and their moms/guardians are invited to attend the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation's 3rd Annual Mother-Son Monster Bash Halloween Party! Costumes are welcome, but not required.

When:   Saturday, October 20th

Time:     6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where:  Dallastown Area Intermediate School
What:    Music, treats (including snacks, candy, and beverages),   
             bounce houses, games, raffles, photo wall, Ghost Walk,
             Haunted Bus, and Gaga Pit!

Cost:     $25 per couple (before October 17th); $30 at the door
             $5 for each additional child in grades Kindergarten through
             Grade 6

All proceeds to benefit the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

 

"The course of true love never did run smooth," and neither does the course of events in the Dallastown Area High School Performing Arts Club's fall production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

 

Held in the Dallastown Area High School auditorium, show dates and times are Thursday, October 25th, at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 26th, at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27th, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 28th, at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets can be reserved online at www.dahsdpac.booktix.com or by calling (717) 244-4021, Extension 3120. Tickets are $10.00 for premium seats, $7.00 for adults, and $5.00 for senior citizens and students who present a valid ID. 

*A silent auction will be held prior to each performance to help offset production costs. Businesses and individuals interested in donating items for the silent auction should contact Bethany Yuninger at bethany.yuninger@dallastown.net prior to October 20^th.

Football For Freedom

On Friday, October 26th, the Dallastown Wildcats will host the Red Lion Lions during the 8th Annual Football for Freedom Bowl. Kick-off is 6:00 p.m. on the Dallastown Area High School American Legion Field at Wildcat Stadium.

Current and former military as well as first responders will be admitted free of charge and are invited to participate on the field in a Tunnel of Valor during pregame team introductions.
