Homecoming 2019

This Homecoming weekend, A Gatsby Gathering, will take Dallastown Area High School students on a walk through Gatsby's garden and inside his mansion.

Tonight, Friday, October 11th, the community is invited to join students and families as festivities continue with the annual Homecoming football game. The Dallastown Wildcats host Spring Grove beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the stadium.

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 12th, presents the Homecoming dance and crowning of the queen and king. Family, friends, and community members are invited to view the decorated areas of the high school lobby and gymnasium from 6:00 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. Those observing the student promenade must be seated in the gymnasium by 6:40 p.m.; public events conclude at 8:00 p.m.
Remember the Troops 2019

During the past 18 years, the Dallastown Area High School Volunteer Club has sent items to members of the military stationed away from home during the holidays. This year the tradition continues.

A list of soldiers is currently being compiled by Shannon Werner, Volunteer Club advisor in the high school. If you know of a soldier who will be serving our country overseas during the holiday season, please send his/her name and address to [email protected]  by today, Friday, October 11th.

Classes are asked to write letters and collect food items (a list will be sent to all who would like to participate) during the month of October.  All items need to be ready for pick up from your schools by Wednesday, October 30th, and will be shipped the beginning of November.

The hope is that all of the soldiers on our list remember 2019 with a smile thanks to the sincerity and generosity of the Dallastown Area School District community. Please partner with us again to Remember the Troops.

GAME OF TIARAS

When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom (England) decides to split his empire between his three daughters, (who in no way resemble copyrighted characters), tragedy ensues.

Combining the gut-wrenching plot twists of Game of Thrones and the soul-numbing despair of classic Shakespearean tragedy, Don Zolidis's farcical adaptation of King Lear will make you laugh.

All performances are held in the Dallastown High School Auditorium.
Show dates and times are 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14th, Friday, November 15th, and Saturday, November 16th. Matinee performances are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16th, and Sunday, November 17th.

Tickets, at $10 (premium seats), $7 adults, and $5 for senior citizens and students who present a valid ID, may be reserved online at www.dahsdpac.booktix.com or by calling (717) 244-4021, Extension 3120.

Note: A silent auction will be held prior to each performance to help offset production costs. Businesses and individuals interested in donating items for the silent auction should contact [email protected] prior to Friday, October 18th.
