Video of the Week
Over the coming year, we will be sharing stories of members of our congregation in a series of films titled " Many Faces, One Community ." These short films will focus on specific aspects or moments in the Jewish journeys of the participants.

The first of these films highlights long-time member Mel Weisz - who just celebrated his 98th birthday this past Friday - and the importance of morning minyan in his life.
Camras Corner
Our tradition teaches that hachnasat orchim , welcoming guests into our home is a mitzvah even greater than welcoming the Divine Presence.

Fulfilling our pillar L’sasson u’l’simcha , to celebrate and be joyful with members of our community, I invite you to fulfill the mitzvah of hachnasat orchim by opening your home to fellow congregants during these upcoming holidays. If you would like to make space at your Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur Break Fast or Sukkot table for a member looking to join with others or if you are a member who would love to meet other congregants around their holiday tables, please contact my assistant Connie Tassa and she will make arrangements.

Wishing you a Shana tova u’metukah,
Rabbi Richard Camras
If you’re interested in joining Rabbi Camras on his trip to Uganda to celebrate Nava Sizomu’s Bat Mitzvah and the 100th year celebration of the Abayudaya, please email Connie Tassa . Rabbi Camras will be traveling with Cantor Mike Stein from Temple Aliyah. The trip is in late June 2019.
