The High Holy Day Information Packet has been mailed. Please look for the High Holy Day Schedule in a separate envelope, and return the necessary forms in a timely fashion. Tickets will be mailed the week before the High Holy Days, which begins with Erev Rosh Hashanah on Sept. 25 at 6:00 PM.

The Jewish Learning Cooperative

for TK-6th Graders

The Jewish Learning Cooperative (JLC) of Shomrei Torah Synagogue and the Sevran Center of Temple Aliyah is excited to offer new and enriching religious school experiences for Jewish students grades TK-6.

We are strong!

Our Judaic Learning. Our teachers create lessons full of hands-on activities that captivate kids’ interests and help them learn how Judaism can be both fun and meaningful.
Our Hebrew Program. We have all kinds of materials kids can use to practice at home and improve their skills
Our Prayer Program. Rabbi Adam, Rae Antonoff, and Cantor Childs create a fun and safe atmosphere for kids to practice their prayer skills and to learn how to connect with the higher powers of the world
Our Community. When two communities combine their kids together, everything gets better. More kids. More friends. More fun.

The Jewish Teen Learning Center

for 8-12th Graders

Shomrei Torah Synagogue and Temple Aliyah invite Jewish teens (8th-12th grade) throughout the San Fernando Valley to join us for a variety of innovative programs featuring diverse guest speakers, roundtable discussions on contemporary issues, and leadership training in a dynamic social environment. Our JTLC serves as a nexus for post-B’nai Mitzvah engagement for Jewish high schoolers as we cultivate the next generation of Jewish leaders.

Can You Help House Rabbi Gershom Sizomu's Son-in-Law?

Samson Nderitu, the son-in-law of Rabbi Gershom Sizomu - our former rabbinic intern and current Chief Rabbi of Uganda - is coming to LA for rabbinical school and to be a rabbinic intern at STS in 2023.
