Jordyn Cohen , daughter of Sara and Shai Cohen, is a student at Hale Charter Academy Middle School, where her favorite subjects are Math and Drama. Outside of school, her interests include singing, mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and travelling. The Cohens have been members of STS since 2003, and Jordyn began her Jewish education at Shomrei Torah in the ECEC when she was just 3 years old. She plans to continue her involvement in Jewish life post Bat Mitzvah by travelling to Israel, being a camp counselor at STS ECEC, and attending Camp Alonim.

Social services as well as employment and legal advice is provided to all STS members – free of charge -- through our participation in The Ezra Network , an initiative of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles in partnership with Jewish Family Service, Bet Tzedek Legal Services and JVS SoCal (formerly known as Jewish Vocational Service).

Social worker Elenna King is here every Wednesday and is available by appointment or on a drop-in basis. Notorious RBG: The Life &Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Coinciding with the twenty-fifth anniversary of her appointment to the high court, this exhibition is the first-ever retrospective about the famed associate justice and cultural icon. The exhibit offers a visually rich, entertaining yet rigorous look at RBG’s life and work through archival photographs and documents, contemporary art, and interactive media stations.
