You Can Afford Summer Camp!
Our Jewish community has always made funds available for those who wish to attend summer camp. Here are two ways first-time campers can get money for that life-changing experience: 1) Rabbi Camras has five $2,500 camperships available for first-time campers to attend Camp Ramah . For more information, email him at rcamras@stsonline.org . If you're interested in Camp Ramah, you might also want to attend Ramah FUNday 2019 on Sunday, March 17 to meet the staff and get a tour. RSVP required . 2) One Happy Camper , through the Foundation For Jewish Camp, offers $1,000 off your child's first Jewish summer camp experience, good for camps across the nation.

Lihi the Shinshinit
My name is Lihi Kleinstern and I am the synagogue Shinshinit this year. I am an Israeli teenager who is here on a service year, "Shnat Shitrot," volunteering at STS and doing different Israel programming.  First of all I would like to thank everyone who came this last Wednesday to hear more about me, my program and the new Israel programming happening this year. For whoever wasn't able to attend, here is a summary of our new and exciting programs:

Israel Club : A new program for our 1st-12th graders! Come have fun with Israel-themed activities. Sundays 12:30-1:45 pm, Thursdays 4:00-5:15 pm. RSVP required. Sign up here or below.

Six Week Israel Challenge : Join me as I challenge the community to face their inner Challenge when it comes to Israel: Is it your need to practice Hebrew? Did you always want to learn Hebrew but never had an opportunity? Do you want to hear more about current events? Do you know nothing but don't know where to start? This Challenge is for you! Join me for one hour each week for six consecutive weeks, facing your challenge, together, with one on one custom meetings. For 9th grade and up. Sign up here or below.
