THE ZOR SHRINE CIRCUS IS COMING. THE ANIMALS NEED YOUR VOICE
It’s always icy and bitter cold when the circus hauls its elephants, tigers, camels, and other animals to Madison. It’s a nasty time of the year to protest outside, but every year people do because what the animals are going through is even nastier.
One bit of good news to warm our toes, fingers, and hearts this frigid time of year, is that
this is (finally!) the last year elephants will be forced to perform or be ridden.
Beginning next year Dane County’s ordinance banning their exhibition will finally take effect. The elephants will get a few days off, but the rest of the animals won’t, and so, we’ll be there too. We hope you will join us; give the animals a voice and share a toast to the elephants. C

HELP US PROTEST AND CELEBRATE
Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 3:30 pm
Join us just before the very last show, which will be the last time that elephants will be forced to perform in Dane County. We will meet in front of the Alliant Energy Center where we will protest the use of wild animals in circuses with a large banner for all attendees to see.
At that time we will also hold an
Ordinance Celebration where we will celebrate the
ban on elephants with a toast and a glass of bubbly. It has been a long time coming!
