Judah Illouz, son of Nikki and Danny Illouz, attends AC Stelle Middle School, where his favorite subject is Science. Outside of school, he enjoys soccer and is active with Boy Scouts Troop 642. The Illouz Family have been members of STS since 2010. After his Bar Mitzvah, Judah plans to continue his Jewish involvement by volunteering at Tomchei Shabbat, packing Shabbat meals for needy families, and attending Camp JCA Shalom and the Camp Shalom Teen Israel Trip.

Get to know rabbinic search candidate Rabbi David Mendelson during this study session and community Q&A. The program takes place at Temple Aliyah but will also be livestreamed. If you are attending Shabbat Morning services at STS, a projector and screen will be set-up in Heytow Chapel for viewing.

2023 Mah Jongg Cards LAST CHANCE!
Shomrei Torah Sisterhood is now taking pre-orders for the 2023 Mah Jongg Cards. Sisterhood benefits from each card that you purchase. Purchase includes your application for Membership to The National Mah Jongg League. All orders must be submitted by Jan. 25, 2023.

"Mordechai Superstar" Purim Shpiel Now Casting
"What's the buzz? We'll tell you what's a-happenin'!" Mordechai Superstar tells the story of Purim in a fun and fast-moving spoof based on the famous Broadway musical. The show will go up on Erev Purim, Monday, March 6th.

We are looking for singers/actors, dancers, and stage crew to bring this shpiel to our communities. Just let us know your interest, and we'll put you in! Participants must be at least 12 years. If interested, email Hazzan Mike Stein at [email protected].
Bone Marrow Donation Assistance
Nathan Einsiedler, son of Georgina and Paul Einsiedler, is in need of a bone marrow transplant and looking for possible donor matches. Donors should be between 19 and 40 years of age and in good health. For those who want to study Mussar but were not able to join Rabbi Camras’ Tuesday afternoon class, here are two introductory Mussar courses taught by the Center for Contemporary Mussar. Mussar is a centuries-old toolbox for working on one’s character, focusing on particular character traits and Jewish values. This class will introduce a method that focuses on refining our attributes so that they enable us to serve others with greater and greater joy.
