Attention Clerks of Session

It is time to report the 2018 statistics for your church! Our goal this year is to have 100 percent reporting, meaning all 45 of our churches! As promised, if we reach our goal, our General Presbyter and Stated Clerk will do a happy dance at the March Presbytery meeting! The link below will direct you to the PCUSA's Statistical Reporting and Frequently asked Questions page. The first link will take you to the log in page for statistical reporting. If you continue to scroll down the page, you will find answers to common questions to assist you in your reporting. Questions regarding login information or statistical reporting can be emailed to cathy@eastminsterpresbytery.org .

Church Treasurers, Bookkeepers, Financial Secretaries

Eastminster Presbytery will close the 2018 financial books on Friday, January 11, 2019. This means that we must receive per capita, mission, and special offering receipts by Friday, January 11, 2019. Anything post marked after the 11th will be posted to 2019 receipts. Thank you for your attention to this important deadline.
2019 Annual Terms of Call Form

Committee on Ministry asks all churches with a pastor (called, interim, stated supply or CRE) to complete a Terms of Call form annually. You can access the form by clicking on Eastminster Presbytery's webpage link below. The form can be found under the Quick Links menu or by visiting the Resources Tab, both found on the home page.

Per Capita 2019

2019 per capita commitment for each church is based on the ending membership that was reported on the 2017 annual statistic report as reported. This year at General Assembly, the vote passed to increase the GA portion of per capita. Our Administrative Ministry committee has recommended that Eastminster Presbytery lower the presbytery portion of per capita so as to not have to increase the 2019 per capita for our churches. The break down for 2019 is as follows:

$32.00 (2019 per capita)

$8.95 (GA portion)
$3.25 (Synod portion)
$19.80 (Eastminster portion)

Treasurers with questions can Diane (330-505-2167 or  diane@eastminsterpresbytery.org )

Stated Clerk looks to challenges, opportunities facing the church in 2019

For two and a half years, the Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson, II, has listened to the heartbeat of the church. The Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has been on the road for most of his tenure, meeting with presbytery and synod leaders and listening and worshiping with churches facing difficult times. Calling for great church photos for PC(USA) calendar!

The  Presbyterian Planning Calendar , a beloved publication of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), is seeking photo submissions from congregations, mid councils, camps, conference centers and education centers for use in its 2019–2020 edition.
Focusing on congregational vitality, fighting poverty, dismantling racism and other mission activities, the request for images also asks, “Who are the unsung heroes of your congregation?” For more information and instructions visit >>>> PCUSA/PMA
