We have exciting news and updates to share with you in this edition of our e-newsletter:
- CCPAPP is excited to welcome a new staff member, Anika Walker, to her new role as Sr. Administrative Assistant! Please learn more below about how Anika can assist your practice.
- If you are a Limited Partner practice and have not yet returned your Limited Partner Member Voting Ballot to CCPAPP in support of the restructuring of our organization, please be sure to do so! Read more about this exciting initiative below.
- CCPAPP members have access to a discount on all FluMist Quadrivalent purchases made during the 2016-2017 season. Please read more below and be sure to prebook doses by April 15, 2016!
- CCPAPP's discount with Pfizer for Trumenba (Serogroup B Meningococcal vaccine) has increased from the previous discount offered in 2015. Practices participating in the agreement must adhere to certain requirements. Please see below for details.
- All practices participating in CCPAPP's vaccine contracting program must complete and return CCPAPP's updated Vaccine Contracting & Compliance Form in order to confirm or decline participation. Please see below for more information and to access the form.
- In adherence to the Physician Payment Sunshine Act, CCPAPP has submitted its required 2015 report to CMS. Please see below for details regarding the physician review period which ends June 30, 2016.
- Merck has increased the pricing of its Zostavax vaccine. Members currently have 90 days to purchase the product at the pre-increase price. See below for details.

CCPA Purchasing Partners Restructuring Update
As previously communicated, CCPAPP is proposing to restructure our organization from a Limited Partnership (LP) to a Limited Liability Company (LLC). We thank all practices that have completed and returned their
Limited Partner Member Voting Ballot in favor of restructuring. Your vote matters and is appreciated.
For practices that have not yet returned their ballot, we ask that you please do so at your earliest opportunity. Although CCPAPP has received a significant number of votes to date which are in favor of the restructuring, we are still working towards the required super-majority of votes in order to proceed with this exciting initiative. Trumenba® Discount for Direct Purchases with Pfizer
CCPAPP's agreement with Pfizer now offers all participating members a 14% discount on Trumenba (
Serogroup B Meningococcal vaccine). This discount is in addition to the 2% prompt-pay discount that Pfizer currently offers to its customers. Pricing for Trumenba can be found on the
Pricing Page of CCPAPP's website. In order for CCPAPP to maintain the increased discount, practices participating in the agreement must agree to CCPAPP's compliance requirements as well as to Pfizer's direct ordering requirements.

MedImmune FluMist Prebook Deadline - April 15, 2016
CCPAPP has renewed our partnership with MedImmune to provide members with access to a discount on all FluMist Quadrivalent purchases made during the 2016-2017 season. Please be reminded that the prebook period for FluMist ends this Friday, April 15, 2016! If your practice is a Limited Partner member, your FluMist purchases are eligible to be included in the calculation of your practice's annual administrative award distribution from CCPAPP. Reminder to Return CCPAPP's
Vaccine Contracting & Compliance Form
Please be reminded that CCPAPP is currently asking all members to complete and submit a new Vaccine Contracting & Compliance Form in order to continue or change contracting preferences
. The new form includes all of CCPAPP's vaccine vendors (Merck, Sanofi Pasteur, Pfizer and MedImmune) and must be completed to confirm or decline participation in any of the vaccine agreements. Practices that do not return the updated form may be removed from CCPAPP's vaccine contracting program. Physician Review Period for Sunshine Act Reporting
The
Physician Payment Sunshine Act requires group purchasing organizations to annually report information about ownership interests held by physicians to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
CCPAPP has filed its 2015 report of Limited Partner members which includes the amount invested in CCPAPP by each partner and the value of the partnership interests.
CMS will publish this information on its searchable federal website beginning June 30, 2016. Physicians currently have 45 days to review the information.

Price Update to Merck's ZOSTAVAX® Vaccine
Effective April 6, 2016, Merck revised its pricing of ZOSTAVAX
®
(Zoster Vaccine Live) to reflect an approximate 5% increase.
There is currently a 90-day price discount available through July 5, 2016 to purchase this product at the old (pre-increase) price.
