The Public School House project is now complete and open for events in Cottleville at 5546 Chestnut Street. The historic one room school house had been empty and unoccupied for some time. The schoolhouse was built in circa 1873 and served as a school until the 1950's. It was later renovated into a residential home in the 1970's. The property owner's restorations have brought the one room school house back to life. It now serves as an event location and is open to the public from time to time as a holiday pop up bar. Cottleville's parks keep growing and improving. Check out the latest addition to Scott A. Lewis Park located near the Miralago subdivision off of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The playground is now complete and is located near the park pavilion/restrooms. This playground is geared toward 2-7 year olds and offers tunnels, 3 slides, a disk swing and a small rock climbing wall. The trail around Buchheit Lake has been extended to the nearby Calvary Church trails which circle around their property near Dardenne Creek. This new trail extension will now provide walkers and riders access to a
2.1
mile loop beginning at Scott A. Lewis Park.
